MUKAH: Poor and needy families in this district affected by the movement control order (MCO) received aid from Setia Raja Mosque Management Committee and other generous donors.
Donations from the public were handed over to the mosque committee before they were distributed to the recipients.
Setia Raja Mosque Management Committee chairman Ismail Mawi handed over the donations to representatives of various surau here on Friday.
The recipients were from Kampung Tabo, Teh, Jebungan, Penakub Ulu, Tutus Hulu, Sungai Alo, Litong, Tellian Laut, Sungai Ragei, Petanak Daya, Petanak Tengah and Bunut.
