SARATOK: Monetary aid amounting to RM537,880 was distributed to 15 mosques and suraus in the Kalaka constituency to finance the activities that will be held during the month of Ramadan.
According to its assemblyman Mohamad Duri, aside from activities, the money is also to be used in the preparations for the distribution of sacrificial cows in 2024.
He expressed his hope that with the aid given, the activities that will be carried out will be organised smoothly.
The handing over ceremony was held at Kalaka Service Centre here yesterday where Mohamad handed over the donations to all the chairmen and representatives from suraus and mosques in the area.
