KUCHING: Kuching recorded one COVID-19 death in epid week 45 while Serian also recorded one death in epid week 46.
The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in its press statement here yesterday, said that there were also 616 new cases in epid week 45 and 814 in epid week 46.
Cumulative cases totalled 318,451 in epid week 45 and 319,265 in epid week 46.
Kuching had the most cases (295) in epid week 45 and 323 cases in epid week 46 followed by Sibu (61 cases in epid week 45 and 89 cases in epid week 46); Miri (58 cases in epid week 45 and 105 cases in epid week 46); Bintulu (36 cases in epid week 45) and 48 cases in epid week 46); Samarahan (31 cases in epid week 45 and 49 cases in epid week 46) and Bau (21 cases in epid week 45 and 18 cases in epid week 46).
