KUCHING: Wife of the Head of State, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib received a courtesy call from this year’s Mother’s Day Hi Tea Organising Committee at Demak Jaya near here, yesterday.
This year’s Mother’s Day celebration is being organised by Persatuan Masakan dan Kuih-Muih Sarawak.
The committee was led by Minister of Welfare, Women and Community Wellbeing, Datuk Hajah Fatimah Abdullah.
The courtesy call was made to invite Toh Puan Datuk
Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib to be present at a Hi-Tea ceremony in conjunction with this year’s Women’s Day to be held at Ballroom, 3rd Floor, Kuching Riverside Majestic Hotel on 7 May.
Also in the delegation were director of Women and Family Department, Noriah Ahmad and chairperson of Persatuan Masakan dan Kuih-Muih Sarawak, Zaiton Istiar Khan.
