MIRI: A 19-year-old motorcyclist died after a motorcycle that he was riding suddenly went out of control and slammed onto a tree. The fatal incident reportedly happened on yesterday morning around 8.18am at Grand Old Lady road.
Miri Police Chief ACP Lim MengSeah when confirming the incident yesterday said, the remains of the motorcyclist Arthur Ivor Likieng had been sent to Miri hospital morgue for post mortem.
Prior to the incident, Arthur was said to be navigating along the road heading towards Kampung Haji Wahid when his motorcycle suddenly went out of control.
The case was being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
