MARUDI: An accident between a car and a motorcycle nearby Kampung Cina, Lorong Wisma Persekutuan here on Friday afternoon left a man with bodily injuries.
According to Zone 6 (Miri) Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) chief Supt Law Poh Kiong, the man was rushed to Marudi Hospital after the crash at 3.57pm.
“A team of Marudi firemen was deployed to the scene upon responding to an alert call on the incident that day,” said Law.
The injured rider was found lying by the roadside next to the car, while the female driver of the car was left unharmed in the incident.
However, it was unclear how the crash occurred, and investigation on the incident is underway.
Prior to the crash, both vehicles were coming from the same direction.
