MUKAH: A crash involving two vehicles took the life of a 27-year old motorcyclist along Jalan Mukah-Balingian yesterday (Dec 3).
A Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) spokesman said firemen from Mukah Fire and Rescue Station received an emergency call at 4.20 pm.
The accident involved a collision between a sedan vehicle and a motorcycle.
The occupants of the car escaped injuries. However, the impact sent the motorcyclist ‘flying’ into the nearby bushes.
Firemen retrieved the victim’s body from the bushes.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene and his body was handed over to the police to be taken to the hospital.
