BINTULU: A motorcyclist was killed after his bike collided with a car at KM13, Jalan Pesisir, Similajau-Miri on Saturday night.
The victim aged 28, suffered severe injuries in the accident and died at the scene. The car driver and her female passenger were unhurt.
A team of six firemen from Samalaju fire station were despatched to the scene of the accident at 8.30pm upon receiving an alert on the incident.
The victim’s body was taken to Bintulu Hospital for a post mortem.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
