KUCHING: A local man was killed after the motorcycle he was riding went out of control and crashed into a road barrier in Serian yesterday.
The deceased was identified at Segaya Biaw, 52, from Kampung Triboh, Serian.
He was believed to be heading to Kuching when the accident occurred at around 12.25pm.
Segaya who sustained serious head injuries died at the scene. His remains were taken to Serian Hospital for a post mortem.
Meanwhile, a female car passenger was injured while two others including the car driver escaped unhurt in a road accident at Jalan Airport here on Thursday night.
The incident occurred at around 11.00pm when the car the victims were travelling in went out of control and crashed into a road barrier.
The 16-year-old girl who sustained injuries on her left arm was later taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment via an ambulance.
