MIRI: Transport Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin yesterday assured that motorsport activities in this division would be further enhanced.

“Motorsport in Miri is popular among the youths and to ensure its sustainability, the current facilities must be well maintained,” he said.

Speaking at a townhall session at the Sarawak Islamic complex here yesterday, Lee said because of that, he proposed that a consultant be appointed to further develop the Miri Youth Complex.

Yesterday’s forum was organised by Miri Youth Association to discuss motorsport in Miri.

Nearly 100 youths attended the event.

Also present was Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni.
