LUBOK ANTU: The ‘Project of Dream Realised Roadshow’ (PRO-DR) organised by TEGAS Community Innovative Learning aims to increase the number of students pursuing their studies in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

A Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) report said Deputy Minister for International Trade, Industry and Investment Datuk Dr Malcolm Mussen Lamoh stressed the importance of STEM in line with Sarawak’s aspiration of becoming a developed state by 2030.

The Batang Ai assemblyman said the PRO-DR programme will provide benefits to students, especially for post-Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) students who wish to further their studies.

He was officiating at the PRO-DR programme 7th Edition at the Lubok Antu Sports Complex Hall, recently.

The roadshow will be on a month-long tour which ends in Lawas with several public and private education institutions and education funding agencies involved.
