SIBUTI: Despite the constraints due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni still made the effort to distribute Ihya Ramadan contributions.

This was to enliven the atmosphere of Ramadan celebrations this year.

A total of 6,000 Ihya Ramadan sets which included canned milk, syrup, dates, and 2021 calendars were distributed to 80 villages in the Sibuti parliamentary constituency starting from last Saturday until Monday.

According to a report by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), the distribution was carried out by the Sibuti Community Service Centre officials to all Malay villages and Muslims in Sibuti.

In conjunction with this, Lukanisman hoped that the Ramadan celebration this year would bring blessings to all the people in the Sibuti parliamentary constituency.

Throughout the distribution process, the standard operating procedures (SOPs) were practised to curb the spread of Covid-19.
