BETONG: Betong MP Dr. Richard Rapu recently visited the site to assess the road repair project leading to Rh Selangking.
According to a statement from the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS), the purpose of the visit was to personally evaluate the ongoing road repair efforts, especially in areas affected by landslides.
This project is funded through the disaster allocation fund and is supervised by the Betong Division Public Works Department (PWD). They have finalised the work specifications.
The contractor in charge of the project is currently preparing to bring in the necessary equipment and machinery for the road repair work. The work is scheduled to start soon.
