SIMUNJAN: Batang Sadong MP Rodiyah Sapiee donated medical equipment to Simunjan Hospital recently.

According to Rodiyah, the donation of medical equipment was an indication of the concern shown for the comfort of the patients and hospital.

“The equipment include four air-conditioning units, three nebulizer machines, one set of camera scopes (retina and otoscope), and one video laryngoscope.

“It is hoped that with this equipment, it will motivate the hospital staff in their efforts to treat patients and, to some extent, help alleviate the burden on the hospital,” she said.

All of the equipment is valued at RM50,000 under the People-Friendly Project (PMR) allocation.

At the same time, Simunjan assemblyman Awla Dris also presented “duit raya” (festive money) to paediatric patients being treated at the hospital.
