KUCHING: Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii handed over tertiary education assistance funds to 29 students under his constituency.
In a Facebook post, Dr Yii said Bandar Kuching Service Centre had distributed funds to 64 students under his constituency as of yesterday, and each received RM1,500.
“This education fund is given once a year with 100 applicants each time. My office will arrange soon to distribute another batch of tertiary education assistance funds.
“I hope that the recipients can make good use of this education fund, strive for excellence in their studies, live up to the expectations of their parents and make contributions to society, and also become pillars of the country after they have completed their studies,” Yii said.
