KUCHING: Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) chairman Lo Khere Chiang went on a friendly exchange visit to Yantai of China’s Shandong province.
Lo, who went with his councillors and delegates, said the five-day trip started off with attending the ‘Shandong International Friendship Cities Conference for Cooperation and Development’ event in Jinan.
The group will also be paying a courtesy visit to Yantai mayor Chen Fei.
Lo added that they will also take the opportunity to visit Yantai Sanzhan Wholesale Market as he has heard of many success stories of the wholesale market there.
“It is important to learn from its accomplishment so we could do the same in the MPP areas,” he said.
