KUCHING: Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) quickly sprang into action to cover a hole at Emart Matang here.
Suara Sarawak, the sister paper for New Sarawak Tribune, received a query from a reader about the hole and notified MPP on Tuesday.
MPP immediately paved and closed the hole, which can cause harm to public property and be hazardous to public safety.
Meanwhile, MPP chairman Lo Khere Chiang expressed gratitude to the council’s team for their prompt action.
“As soon as we receive a complaint, we will act immediately to resolve the problem,” he said.
