MIRI: Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) Miri will be holding a blood donation campaign on June 12 (Sunday) in conjunction with the World Blood Donor Day which is held annually on June 14.
The event will take place from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm at the MRCS training hall. It aims to help the Miri hospital blood bank get enough blood supply to meet the demands of the community.
The Northern Sarawak Journalists Association (NSJA) and the Miri Hospital Blood Fund are supporters of the event. NSJA is helping the organisers to get sponsors; goodies will be donated to successful donors.
The sponsors are Shun Shen Lee Trading (MIR) Sdn Bhd, Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad, Regal Marketing & Trading Sdn.Bhd, The Twin Brothers Patisserie and Miri City Council.
Blood donors will receive 1 kg pack of rice, vegetable cooking oil, bread and a goody bag each.
Donors are welcome. The registration counter will be open from 8.30 am.
