KUCHING: The National Consumer Action Council (MTPN) Sarawak and International Education Legacy Foundation have extended their congratulatory wishes to Dion Das Louis upon his recent outstanding achievement at the World Championship of Performing Arts in the USA.

As a member of the International Legacy Education Foundation, Dion won four gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal through his ‘Little Borneon Birdie’ dance.

“Dion’s success has introduced the culture of Sarawak to the world, aligning with MTPN and International Education Legacy Foundation’s goals to promote performances and cultural exchanges from various ethnic groups in the state.

“We feel very proud to be children of Sarawak. We, Sarawakians, are committed to promoting more talents and showing the world the mutual respect, harmony, and unity that our country always upholds,” MTPN Sarawak said in a statement.

It added their goal is to maintain world peace and conduct cultural exchanges through platforms that allow the dissemination of culture from various ethnic groups and global cultural exchanges so that they are not forgotten by society.

For future plans, they intend to collaborate with the Shangyin Music Centre to organise an online singing competition and work with the government and other organisations.
