KUCHING: The resignation of Dewan Negara President Tan Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar has caused anticipation as well as an air of mystery among the public.
Last Friday, the Dewan Negara president Tan Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar has officially submitted his resignation, according to a news report by The Malaysian Insight.
The Malaysian Insight was quoted as saying in its news report that Wan Junaidi is expected to take the oath of office as the new Sarawak Head of State.
The current Head of State is Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud, who has held the position since March 2014.
