SIBU: Parti MUDA Sarawak Mobile Counter will be officially launched this month, said the head of the Volunteer and Community Service Bureau and MUDA Sibu District coordinator Jonathan Yii.
In a press release today (Feb 4), he said the party will set up mobile service counters in major cities such as Sibu, Kuching, Miri and Bintulu every month in order to be able to go to the public and listen to their voices.
He also hoped to forge close ties with the people through the implementation of this mobile counter and to bring their problems to the attention of the appropriate government departments or agencies in order to find the best solutions.
“In addition, we’ll be planning more community events in the future. We genuinely believe that the efforts we make will help Sibu and Sarawak as a whole undergo more transformation. If you happen to see us in Sibu, feel free to contact us.
“Despite not running for or winning any seats in either the 2021 state election or the 2022 general election, the year 2022 saw us successfully distribute 2,500 meals to underprivileged families in Sarawak through our own efforts and the collaboration with non-profit governmental organisations, hoping to lessen the people’s burden and pay attention to their voices,” he explained.
