MUKAH:  Mukah Wushu, Lion and Dragon Dance Club has received three ‘lions’, thanks to the three local sponsors who are also businessmen.

Mukah Chinese Community Benevolent Society chairman Yeo Tiong Ing, Yeo Fong Chee and Chua Boh Soon sponsored one ‘lion’ each to the club.

On Friday (Jan 28), they were given the honour to perform eye-dotting of the lions ceremony at Mukah Tua Pek Kong Temple here.

The club assistant trainer, Lee Yip Ching, who is also a teacher at a secondary school here, thanked the sponsors for their contributions.

According to her, members of the club comprised Chinese and non-Chinese, who are also former students.
