MUKAH: Patients at Mukah Hospital here on Thursday (Jan 27) received hampers in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration courtesy of the organisers of the road safety campaign.

The campaign was organised by Mukah Division Road Safety Council (MKJR) and Mukah Division Malaysian Government Servants Welfare and Sports Council (Maksak).

The organisers, led by Mukah Division Resident Hamdiah Bakir paid a visit to the hospital and handed over hampers to the patients.

She was accompanied by Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi and Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine.

They jointly handed over 50 hampers to the patients in the hospital wards.

Earlier, Hamdiah, who is also Mukah Division MKJR and Maksak chairperson, launched the road safety campaign at the compound of Menara Pehin Setia Raja here.
