Mukah police look into welfare of retired staff

MUKAH: The district police headquarters (IPD) here on Thursday (Oct 7) organised visits to staff who have retired, and families of staff who passed away.

A delegation, led by OCPD DSP Muhamad Rizal Alias visited retirees SI Dairi Mahzin, SM Mohd Ali Samat, Cpl Sahari Johor and Kpl/S Sulaiman, who are all sick.

They also visited the next-of-kin of the late Sgt Mohd Sopian Shadan, L/Cpl/S Rosli Mat, Cpl/S Saiful Jerman, Cpl Awang Chik and Cpl Syukri Perseh.

Contributions were also given to the retirees, and the next-of-kin of staff who passed away.

DSP Rizal was accompanied by Mukah IPD Surau Darul Husna chairman Sgt-Maj Ajahar Bakar and committee members.

Sgt-Maj Ajahar said the visit was to show the police force’s appreciation for services of the retirees and those who had passed away.
