MUKAH: Mukah Polytechnic (PMU) has been selected as the launch location for the Anti-Drug Squad Committee at the Higher Education and Skills Institutes level in Mukah Division, in conjunction with the One Million Anti-Drug Squad Members campaign in Mukah District this month.

According to the head of the Mukah District National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK), Felynora Joseph Na, the launch will be officiated by Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine.

“This is because Royston is also the chairman of the Sarawak Anti-Drug Squad and the Anti-Drug Squad.

“The formation of this committee will involve all educational and skill institutions in Mukah, namely PMU, Sarawak Technical Excellence Center (CENTEXS) Mukah, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak Mukah Campus, Sarawak Skills, and GiatMara Mukah.”

She said this during the Mukah District AADK engagement session at PMU with deputy director (academic) Iskandar Reduan, at the PMU conference room recently.
