MUKAH: A river bank fishing competition will be held at Mukah Old Town riverfront here on October 6. The event is organised by Mukah Division Land and Survey Department (LSD Mukah).
Known in Bahasa Malaysia as “Pertandingan Memancing Tebingan Sungai Mukah 2018”, the competition is limited to 100 anglers. It will be divided into three categories, namely, the heaviest fish (per fish), overall heaviest total catch and the unique catch.
The entrance fee of RM20 is inclusive of a free T-shirt. The organiser had set aside attractive prizes worth a total of RM4341 for the winners. The entry forms of the sporting event are available at the LSD Mukah office located on the third floor of Menara Pehin Setia Raja Mukah.
October 1 is the closing date. The river bank fishing competition is held in conjunction with the 150th State Legislative Anniversary and State Land And Survey Department Centenary Celebration.
