KUCHING: Delegation from the Malaysia-United States Ties (MUST) paid a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas at his office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here, yesterday.
The delegation of scholars and United States Congressional Staffers under the Malaysia-United States Ties visit programme (MUST-VP) arrived in Kuching on Monday for a three-day visit to Sarawak.
After visiting the Deputy Chief Minister yesterday, the group attended briefings by the State Planning Unit of Chief Minister’s Department, Natural Resources and Environment Board Sarawak and Kuching North City Hall and visited the Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV).
In the evening, the visitors attended a dinner hosted by the state government.
Today, the delegation will depart for Bintulu to attend briefings conducted by the Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA), Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) and Murphy Oil and Gas Company before returning to Kuala Lumpur later in the evening.
