CELEBRITY entrepreneur Noor Nabila, who is also Neelofa’s elder sister, has finally confirmed that she and her husband, Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin, are heading for splitsville, after rumours of the divorce circulated for the past week.

Nabila said that the decision was made after Emran made it clear that he was no longer interested in continuing the relationship.

“As of now, we are in the process of going through the divorce, which will hopefully be finalised soon. Emran has already expressed his desire for divorce after he left my house at the beginning of January.

“Alhamdulillah, when he told me his intention for a divorce, we discussed it in a calm and amicable manner and accepted all of the decisions that were made with an open heart.

“Whether we were meant to be together or not is all decided by God. Nobody wants to get married and get divorced later. I too had dreamed of a happy and long-lasting marriage,” Nabila said.

At the moment, she does not want to disclose any further details on her marital troubles to the public and would rather let the matter only be known between the two of them and for the matter to be a lesson for herself.

“I have done my best. However, as humans, we cannot run away from the trials and tribulations that occur in a household.

As husband and wife, we are supposed to make sacrifices and always be there for each other in any situation. Unfortunately, we are not able to.

“The problem between us has been ongoing for quite some time, and I leave it to fate to decide. I am confident that this is God’s best plan for me and my children,” she said.

Previously, rumours were circulating that Nabila and Emran’s marriage was already on shaky ground, which would eventually lead to a split. A source close to the couple said that the couple was no longer living together and was said to be in the process of getting a divorce.
