Their two-day visit to the state was aimed to conduct a feasibility study on the local products especially those produced by the Melanau ethnics to be exported to the national and international markets.

According to Manuchihr,  if they were found to meet the desired quality for export, they would market the products with the support of NAFAS.

“They were in the state and Mukah in particular to see the potential of the products produced by the locals. The status of the product must be Halal and Mesti (makanan sihat tanggungjawab industry) produced by the local PPKs. NAFAS will assist the identified local entrepreneurs under PPK to market them in the national and international markets,” Manuchihr pointed out.
