OYA: NAFAS futsal team from Mukah District won the 5-a-side Kaul Oya Cup futsal competition 2017 to receive a cash prize of RM800, a trophy and medals at the Futsal Court, Kampung Boom Oya, recently.
NAFAS, under their manager, Abang Zairol Abang Wahab won the final match through a penalty shootout to beat Mancit team 4-3 after both tied with 2-2 at full time.
Mancit took home a cash prize of RM500, a trophy and medals while two other teams who finished joint third place – Triospermo and Twismio – each received a cash prize of RM200, trophies and medals.
The Mayor of Dalat and Mukah District Council (DDM) and chairman of Pesta Kaul Oya 2017, Kadir Jamil gave away the prizes.
