KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud received a courtesy call from National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) director-general Sutekno Ahmad Belon at the former’s residence in Demak Jaya here.
The visit was Sutekno’s first since being appointed as AADK director-general earlier this year.
He is also on an official visit to Sarawak for six days, which ends this Friday (Oct 29).
Sutekno told the media on Thursday (Oct 28) that he had updated Taib on the efforts being carried out by AADK in addressing drug abuse, as well as joint plans with Sarawak.
Sutekno previously served as the Ministry of Human Resources, Department of Manpower director-general.
Also present was Sarawak AADK director Iskandar Turkee.
