BAU: Primary school pupils here were nervous but delighted to get vaccinated as school reopens next month.

Those aged 12 to 15 were at the Kampung Serasot multi-purpose hall to receive their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, and were accompanied by their parents.

I’m glad to see my son finally getting the Covid-19 vaccine. I’m positive this will keep him safe when he goes to school later. This is good news for every parent, getting their children vaccinated and I’m grateful.

I was nervous at first, coming here. I thought it would take a long time but it was quick. I felt a pinch but it wasn’t painful. I’m also glad to go back to school and meet my friends.

I did feel a pinch but nothing that is painful. It was a quick process — when the nurse gave me the vaccine. I’m glad that my mother is with me and I’m happy that I can go back to school and meet my friends.

I’m glad to get the vaccine shot and also excited to go back to school. I just felt a pinch, that’s all and then the nurse said, “All done.” Now, I don’t have to be worried, knowing that the vaccine will keep me safe.
