KUCHING: One way for local food and beverage (F&B) entrepreneurs to network and promote their business is by visiting the Malaysian International Food and Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB) roadshow.
The roadshow started back in October last year in Penang and Kuching is the final stop.
Organised by Sphere Exhibits Malaysia with support from the International Trade and E-Commerce Ministry Sarawak, it is into its 20th edition and is a good opportunity for local F&B players to engage.
“This fair aims to set a clear direction for small and medium enterprises to propel themselves in the food and beverage industry,” said Sphere Exhibits Malaysia project director Henri Tan at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching here yesterday.
“We also help to showcase the future of food business in efforts to position Malaysia as a prime global food hub,” he said.
Meanwhile, its senior marketing executive Kavi Arasu said the platform could be utilised to elevate the lives of professional and local communities.
“MIFB serves as an international forum where all the key players can exchange valuable insights and knowledge.
“While promoting local products, local entrepreneurs are able to engage and learn the latest innovation and research technologies in this arena through seminars,” he added.
