KOTA SAMARAHAN: There is no room for the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government to partner Sarawak Democratic Action Party (DAP).
“Not at all,” said Datuk Peter Minos.
That was the response of the political analyst to the statement made by Sarawak DAP Chairman Chong Chieng Jen, who was willing to make concessions and cooperate with GPS to prevent the backdoor coup known as the ‘Sheraton Move’.
“They used to claim that we will go bankrupt and the claim was done with the intention of destroying Sarawak’s economy. And now they want to ask the help of GPS to realise their dream… GPS will not help,” he said.
He added that Sarawak had paid RM700 million to the federal government to repair dilapidated schools in the state, but Lim Guan Eng, the DAP secretary-general, made excuses not to fulfill his end of the deal..
“Sarawak DAP members mercilessly provoked, attacked, slandered and accused GPS and Sarawak.
“They became the reason for the suffering of the Sarawakians,” he said when contacted yesterday.
