KUALA LUMPUR: National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang has urged Malaysians to embrace unity and respect on the 67th National Day.

He emphasised the significance of the “Malaysia MADANI: Jiwa Merdeka” theme, which represents the nation’s core values and the spirit of freedom.

“This year’s theme reminds us of the foundation upon which our nation is built,” he said.

Highlighting the six key values of “Malaysia MADANI,” the Minister stressed the importance of understanding, respect, and acceptance in bridging differences and fostering national unity.

“Differences should be seen as a gift, not a barrier,” he said.

The Ministry of National Unity will lead the “Malaysia MADANI Unity Contingent” during tomorrow’s (Aug 31) parade, featuring 600 participants representing various races and ethnicities from across the country.
“Happy 67th National Day,” he added.
