LUNDU: A concrete bridge will be built in Kampung Sileng Dayak starting this November to replace the old bridge that has collapsed.

Tanjong Datu assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu said the Public Works Department (JKR) has erected a warning sign and obstruction to warn users of the condition of the collapsed bridge.

“In the meantime, a bailey bridge will be built, which should take two days to complete,” she said.

On the proposed replacement bridge, she said it will be a concrete one and will be built using the rural transformation programme (RTP) funds.
