KUCHING: The Next Generation Ford Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel features the same engineering enhancements, tougher hardware and smarter technologies powered by a proven power train that customers know and love.
Dealer principal of Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) Barry Bong Oi Ted said that it delivered even more impressive capabilities, ride and handling, specifically for those who thrived on pushing the limits.
“It comes with the same tough and bold exterior and interior that have attracted speed lovers, from its dauntless body and seven driving modes to its jet fighter-inspired seats and fully digital cockpit.
“The next generation Ranger Raptor 2.0-tre B-Turbo offers another selection for drivers to own one of the most high-performance pick-ups Ford has ever made,” he said.
He was speaking during the launching ceremony of the four-wheel drive 4WD vehicle at Sime Darby Auto Connexion’s building in Kuching today (June 16).
Meanwhile, after the launch, sales manager Aidwin Aidan Wing told reporters that the target sales for the 4WD would be 100 units for the rest of this year.
“It is because we got an overwhelming response from customers on Next-Gen Ranger Raptor V6 last year. We are hoping that the response to this vehicle will be much better than ever,” he added.
The price for the Next-Generation Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel in Sarawak and Sabah is RM252,188 while in Peninsular Malaysia, it is RM248,888.
The Next Generation Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel will enjoy the same all new exterior styling.
Its key features include flared wheel arches, bold FORD lettering on the grille, a bumper that is separated from the grille, Matrix LED headlamps with the signature C-clamp LED daytime running lights (DRL).
Available colours include the new Code Orange, in addition to the Absolute Black, Artic White, Blue Lightning and Conquer Grey.
It comes with a five-year manufacturer’s warranty or 160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.
Customers can also opt to extend to a seven year coverage with the Premium Care extended warranty package.
The Next-Generation Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel will be on tour with the Ford Experience Hub Roadshow to Sarawak, Sabah and northern and southern Peninsular Malaysia, beginning June to September 2023.
