SRI AMAN: The Dewan An-Nur costing RM250,000 is finally ready for use.
The hall was officially declared open by Community Wellbeing Assistant Minister Datuk Francis Harden Hollis during an Aidilfitri gathering at the compound of Surau An-Nur here, last Saturday.
“With the building ready, it is expected to benefit the local Muslims by holding their activities at the venue,” he said.
The event was organised by Surau An-Nur management committee headed by its chairman Sharaai Abdul Rahim.
During the gathering Francis also presented an MRP grant of RM5,000 each to the surau management committee and surau women’s association.
Among those present were Penghulu Samad Abdul Rahim and Cr Suhaili Abu Samy.
