SERIAN: The completion of the Kpg Diyang Ipuh Hall brings relief to its residents.
Deputy Food Industry, Commodities and Regional Development Minister Datuk Martin Ben said that the project, initiated in 2017 under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP), involved an initial investment of RM300,000.
He said the hall then underwent further upgrades costing RM70,000 in 2020.
He was officiating at the new hall and celebrating Naw-Ruz Bahai Day in Kpg Diyang here on Saturday (Mar 23).
Additionally, Martin, who is the Kedup assemblyman, presented three Minor Rural Project (MRP) cheaques to Kpg Diyang Ipuh chief Milon Kidan, totalling RM5,000.
He also handed over MRP cheaques to the village security and development committee (JKKK) and the Women’s Bureau and Youth Association, each amounting to RM3,000.
