SIMANGGANG: The new Sri Aman Hospital II has proved to be of great benefit to patients in the area, especially those seeking specialist treatment.
The 108-bed facility which began operating in stages from 2021 has eased the burden of patients who until then had to travel to Kuching for these services.
At Sri Aman Hospital, there are 10 specialist doctors in various medical fields providing services to patients, including medical, psychiatry, surgical, orthopedics, emergency and trauma, anaesthesiology, otorhinolaryngology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and radiology.
At its Open Day 2024, Deputy Talent Development Minister Datuk Francis Harden Hollis, who is also Simanggang assemblyman, credited the organisers for being proactive in supporting the community by opening service counters in each section.
Harden was represented by hospital acting director Dr Sim Poh Ling.
Earlier in the morning, an aerobics programme was held before the Open Day Run.
