KUCHING: The Rotary Club of Kuching officially installed its 82nd Club President and Board Members at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on Saturday night (Sept 24).
New president, Eric Lew took over the role from Garett Sim. The guests of honour at the event were Deputy Premier Datuk Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian and Chief Guest District Governor, Joanne Kam.
In his speech, Lew thanked past presidents and senior members for their guidance and the opportunity to serve.
“My main goal in this role is to put service above myself, for the members and community of Sarawak,” he said.
The ceremony also saw the launching of new club charters, such as the Interact Club of Tunku Putra HELP and the Rotaract Club of Kuching Omega.
