MEMBERS of the public are delighted with the updated location tracking smart app MySejahtera application that makes it easier for users to access the status displays for risk level and vaccination status.
The improvements include check in and check out features that will ease data collection for contract tracing.
The new features were announced recently by Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
He reminded the public to press the ‘check out’ button when leaving a place as it would ease data collection for contact trading.
MySejahtera is an application developed by the government to assist in managing the Covid-19 outbreak in the country.

The updated Mysejahtera application is a very good initiative by the federal government. The ‘check out’ feature will make easier for the health ministry and relevant authorities to detect all close contacts in a certain area.
It’s a bit complicated because we have to re-enter the application when leaving a location but we just have to get used to the new features.

The updated MySejahtera application is not that complicated for me. However, sometimes, I forget to press the ‘check out’ button I leave a place and only notice it next day. I guess I have to get used to the new features.

The ‘check out’ feature is very convenient and even helps to prevent the spread of Covid-19. With this feature, the health ministry can detect those who are close to positive individuals. It also allows the public to access the status displays for risk level and vaccination status.

The ‘check out’ feature is good for everyone because it will easily detect positive Covid-19 patients in an area. Moreover, it is easier for the health ministry to identify individuals who have close contacts with Covid-19 patients.

Generally, many people already know about the MySejahtera application. It is good it has been updated with the check-in and check-out buttons. However, sometimes I forget to press the check-out button. I guess many of us have to get used to the new features until we are familiar with them.

The updated MySejahtera will definitely help to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus. I find the new features very useful. I can just go to a mall or anywhere and just scan MySejahtera app to get the check-in and check-out reports. For me, the new features are not complicated.
