KUCHING: The Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) has added six new national parks to their visitor self-registration portal, allowing for easier planning and accessibility for nature enthusiasts.
Visitors can now register their visits to Kubah National Park, Matang Wildlife Centre, Gunung Gading National Park, Similajau National Park, Lambir National Park, and Niah National Park through the portal.
Registrations will be accepted starting July 1, 2023.
The SFC advised visitors to register at least one hour before their visit to secure an earlier time slot.
“With these additions, we aim to enhance your experience by streamlining the registration process and ensuring a seamless journey into these stunning natural wonders.
“Whether you are an avid nature enthusiast, a casual hiker, or a wildlife lover, these national parks offer a diverse range of attractions and activities that are sure to captivate and inspire you,” said the corporation in a statement.
The registration process can be completed by scanning the QR code provided at the park entrance or by visiting the official website at https://selfregister.sarawakforestry.com/
Visitors are reminded to familiarise themselves with the park rules and regulations for a harmonious and enjoyable experience.
