MUKAH: A new pharmacy opened in town on Monday and this is good news for the people in Mukah division as this would provide more choices for them.
Ting Pharmacy is strategically located in the Mukah New Township Phase Two and its pharmacist, identified only as Sia, said the outlet was the tenth branch in Sarawak thus far.
“We are on our own and not affiliated with the existing one in the old own, which coincidently has a similar trade name,” she told New Sarawak Tribune today (May 25).
She said that to commemorate its grand opening, the pharmacy will be offering free health checks for cholesterol, glucose, uric acid and blood pressure until June 30.
Sia added that certain health products and equipment were also offered at discounted prices.
With the opening of Ting Pharmacy, Mukah town now has five pharmacies and they cater not only to the local market, but also customers from other districts and sub-districts in this division.
