SERIAN: The new Serian Health Clinic (Type 3) is expected to be completed by the end of July and will begin operations by late November.

Local MP Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem said the new clinic is set to alleviate congestion at the Serian Hospital, which has been a well-known issue.

He noted that the outpatient department of Serian Hospital will be relocated to the new clinic, offering much-needed relief.

Additionally, other departments, such as the Maternal and Child Health Clinic, will also be transferred to the new facility.

“Earlier this morning, I visited the Serian Type 3 Health Clinic to review the current status of the project. After touring the facility, I am very satisfied with its implementation,” he said in a Facebook post yesterday (June 28).

To ensure that the people of Serian are informed and aware of the new clinic, Riot asserted that a town hall session will be organised with community leaders and village heads on a date to be announced soon.
