KUCHING: First-time paddler Reuben Yusuf is excited to make a splash at the Sarawak Regatta 2024.
The 24-year-old from Long Terawan Mulu is part of the Asaroz Terawan Mulu team, competing in the Men’s 30 Paddlers “Raja Sungai” (King of the River) TYT Cup in the local category.
“We’ll conduct a post-mortem to refine our strategy for the upcoming events,” he told Sarawak Tribune on Friday (Nov 1).
“Our goal is to secure a spot in the top three.”
“Hopefully we can do better in the upcoming events and we can do well. I am quite excited to be here as this is my first time competing as well,” he added.
