KAPIT: Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi made a site inspection at the newly completed Community Hall that was built at Kampung Cina, Jalan Bletih that was held to coincide with his Gawai visit here recently.

Accompanying Nanta for the site inspection were the advisor of Kampung Cina Bletih Temenggong Tan Kian Hoo, Pemanca Yong Thu Fook, Penghulu Sia Shui Poh and Kapitan Yap Hui Le.

The RM500,000 community hall was completed recently that could be used for social activities for the Chinese community residing at Kampung Cina Bletih.

The chairman of the JKKK Kampung Cina Bletih Kapitan Yap Hui Le told that the community hall was completed recently. She hoped the Deputy Minister could assist to allocate some fund for the furniture at the hall.

Last year just before the State Election, Nanta approved the construction of two community halls namely the Foochow community’s multi-purpose that was built at km 3 JalanSelirik and at Kampung Cina Bletih. Each community hall was built at a cost of RM500,000.
