SADONG JAYA: The newly completed Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Terasi will soon be handed over to the school authorities, said Batang Sadong MP Rodiyah Sapiee.

She said SK Terasi was fully completed in May this year and has not faced any major issues since.

“Next week, the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) will conduct an inspection of the school building to facilitate the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy (OP).

“This inspection is crucial to ensure the OP certificate is issued, allowing for the handover of the building as soon as possible,” she said during a working visit to the school project site on Thursday.

She added that once the school begins operations, it will provide students and teachers with a more conducive and safer environment for teaching and learning.

SK Terasi is part of the Proposed Redevelopment of Dilapidated Schools in Sarawak under the RM1 Billion Allocation (Phase 2) Package 3, with the project costing RM3,251,078.83.
