KANOWIT: Ngemah assemblyman Alexander Vincent donated cash to finance the cost of supplying food to Covid-19 frontliners in this district.

According to his representative Cr Sulaiman Nyandang, Alexander’s concern towards the frontliners had motivated him to initiate the donation in fulfilling his duty as an elected representative.

“The conditional movement control order (CMCO) has been implemented and people can now go to work but many are still affected in terms of finance.

“Alexander will continue to ease the burden of frontliners affected by making sure essential food supply is not cut-off and will be managed at its best,” he told reporters after presenting the donation to Kanowit District Council secretary Anthony Luta at the later’s office yesterday.

Sulaiman said the donation was made to finance the costs of catering of food and beverage to frontliners in Kanowit and hoping they would be able to work more comfortably.
