KUCHING: Caring bodies and individuals are encouraged to play vital roles in alleviating the burden of frontliners, including public healthcare facilities during this challenging time.
The exemplary step taken by Hope Place Kuching, a non-governmental organisation, to contribute 1,000 pieces of N95 face masks to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) today was a much-lauded effort.
“The gift was collected from a donor as it has come to his attention that the SGH frontline workers need more support in having the N95 masks to protect them,” said Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan.
Wan handed the donated masks to SGH admin representative Sariddin Kederi and was witnessed by Dr Lee Peh Yee.
“Should there be anyone who is interested in making a donation, they can directly transfer to our Maybank account 5112-8900-1160 and contact us for more information at 082-505987,” he added.
